To celebrate 14 years of the Real Food Market,the Traders are running a £5 Deal campaign, offering customers fabulous foodie treats for £5. The offers change every day, but here's a taster of some of this months offers:

  • 5 punnets of fruit for £5 from Starwberry Gardens
  • Baron Bruchard's £5 soup and a pitta meal deal
  • Lakeland Picnic's burger & beverage for £5
  • 4 cones of sweets for £5 from traditional confectioner Andy Lever
  • A box of macaroons from English Rose Bakery - with a choice of 10 delicious flavours, including salted caramel and pistachio.

Regular Stalls

  • Baron Bruchard - believes food should be a pleasure to prepare, a joy to serve, and a delight to devour. Their portable restaurant kitchen serves everything from German Bratwurst to traditional goulash and pumpkin soup sourced from the region's best ingredients; their team of expert chefs then match the quality of the ingredients with excellent recipes and great, innovative cooking.
  • B Juiced - Fruit and vegetable smoothies.
  • Bowlands Outdoor Reared Pork - a family run business situated on the hills between the historic villages of Slaidburn & High Bentham. Their cattle, pigs & sheep roam free on the lush green pastures of the Forest Of Bowland. They are reared traditionally & fed naturally. Sells: Pork, beef, lamb, sausages, home-made burgers and hog roast Dry cured bacon, traditional sausages, all fresh cuts of pork, beef & lamb. Hog Roast & BBQs.
  • Lakeland Picnic Company - hot burgers and sausages with bread and chutneys provided by Savin Hill Farm.
  • Mrs Kirkham's - Ruth Kirkham began making Lancashire Cheese as Beesley Farm over 30 years ago. This was a skill she had been taught by her own mother, making her the third generation of cheese maker in her family. Mrs Kirkham's Lancashire Cheese can now be found in most good deli' counters around the country or on the menu in your favourite restaurant, but despite it's success, it is still very much a family business. Apart from two full time members of staff, John Kirkham still milks the cows every day, while Ruth and son Graham still make the cheese between them, seven days a week.
  • Orchard Pigs - (Robert and his mum) produce fantastic handmade pies and pastries, including their trademark 'tractor wheel pie', using local free range produce that supports local farmers. A range of pork, mutton, beef and game pies are sold.
  • OSA African Foods - African chutneys, sauces and patties. Osa Foods began life very small, with owner Bridget Ramwell selling to friends and family from her kitchen in Bury. Her family are originally from Nigeria and the recipes have been handed down from generation to generation, all of whom have added special ingredients. Although there are strong influences from Nigerian cooking, Bridget has tried to blend tastes and styles from across Africa including coconut, red onion and plantain.
  • Robinsons Bakery - the Robinson family have been running Robinsons Bakery since 1864. Robinsons bake (by hand!) a huge variety of breads, muffins, and pies fresh every morning. They also make over 100 varieties of cakes from traditional confectionery such as Dairy Cream Cakes, Vanilla Slices and Eccles Cakes to modern cakes such as Cupcakes and American Muffins.
  • Savin Hill - british white beef, middle white pork, sausages, burgers, pies, pates, terrines, wild game and damson based products. Savin Hill is a small farm based in the beautiful Lyth Valley, South Lakeland. The last eleven years has seen them increase herd numbers, buildings and grazing land and build their own on-site butchery, allowing them to maintain the highest welfare and quality standards.
