St George's Day Market

Piccadilly Gardens, City Centre

The St. George's Day Market will return in 2013 - dates to be announced.

How to get to Piccadilly Gardens

Manchester's celebrations for St George's Day, which is on Monday 23 April, begin the weekend before with the opening of the St George's Market in Piccadilly Gardens.

Another of our Seasonal Markets, it coincides with the St George Festival taking place in Piccadilly Gardens over the same weekend and is the ideal place to watch the passing of the St George's Day Parade.

You'll find a selection of stalls selling crafts, gifts and food including jewellery, accessories, St George memorabilia, handmade clothing, homewares and vintage products.

You can refuel for the festivities at any one of a number of stalls selling hot and cold food and drink including locally farmed burgers and sausages, homemade soups, pitta breads and salads. And for the sweet-toothed there are delicious cupcakes on offer.
