Coroners and Assistant Coroners in Manchester

As 'Manchester City' Area is a particularly busy jurisdiction, we have both a Senior Coroner and two Area Coroners.

The Coroner's Office in Manchester 

The Coroner’s Office is open from  9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

How to get to the Coroner's Office & court

The public entrance is through the sliding glass doors on St Ann's Square, immediately to the left of the steps to the main entrance of The Royal Exchange Theatre.

The nearest car parks are NCP Deansgate, NCP Arndale and ICC King Street West. The nearest rail station is Manchester Victoria.  The nearest tram stop is Exchange Square.  Free Metroshuttle buses 2 and 3 run along Deansgate, less than 100 metres away.  See the Transport for Greater Manchester website to help you plan your journey.
