Services for people with physical disabilities
Support for physically disabled people
There are a wide range of services for people with physical disabilities in Manchester. These include:
- Alcohol Services
- Blue Badge Parking
- Drug Services
- HIV / AIDS Services
- Respite Care
- Sensory Needs Services
Some of these services are provided by Manchester City Council, but many are provided by other organisations, including independent and voluntary organisations.
These services may have a cost, and depending on your financial circumstances, Manchester City Council may be able to contribute towards these costs.
To speak to someone about getting help or support, get in touch with the Adults and Children's Social Care Contact Service.
To search a database of services which might be appropriate for you, some of which might be free, take a look at MyManchesterServices, linked below, choose Living with a disability or sensory impairment from the left hand menu.
