What's It All About:

Manchester has a dedicated Disability Sport Manager who has a strategic responsibility for the development of disability sport in Manchester. The Disability Sport Manager works with many partners to ensure there are accessible programmes and clubs for disabled people and that there are opportunities for disabled Manchester residents to take part in sport at any level they choose.

Weekly Activities

Multi Sports Clubs:

The following clubs are open to all Manchester disabled children and take part during term time only, we operate a multi sport approach & activities are adapted to meet individual needs. The ethos of the clubs is fun through sport & we encourage individuals to play & progress in sport regardless of ability. The clubs deliver structured sessions that are led by qualified coaches who ensure all participants stay physically active and develop their own sporting ability.

School Holiday Activities:

Sports Development deliver a variety of activities in the holidays specifically for disabled children, disabled children can also access other holiday programmes but we advise that you contact the relevant development officer to ensure they can accommodate your child's requirements.
