Manchester Business Continuity Forum (MBCF)
About the MBCF
Manchester City Council, alongside its partners, has been active in establishing and promoting a Manchester Business Continuity Forum, the first of its kind in the Greater Manchester region and one of only a handful of Local Authorities nationally who provide this range of support activities.
The main aim of the MBCF is to increase awareness of business continuity management in Manchester's business and voluntary sector communities. This is achieved through a range of activities, including free events and training opportunities, relevant information and initiatives via our e-mail list and both creating and signposting useful guidance documents, templates and publications.
By building a strong network of Business, Public and Third Sector organisations, the MBCF are encouraging a 'partnership approach' to help facilitate the sharing of good practice and mutual support to further increase our collective preparedness to manage and minimise the impact of a broad range of disruptions.
