Health and Wellbeing Board Membership

The Health and Wellbeing Board brings together NHS, public health, social care and children’s services representatives, elected representatives and representatives from HealthWatch Manchester to plan health and social care services for Manchester. Its role includes:

  • encouraging the organisations that are responsible for commissioning health or social care services in Manchester to work together and to work closely with the Board;
  • encouraging those who provide health or social care services services to work closely together; and
  • To agree the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment and the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy for Manchester.
