Town Hall service is world class

Manchester Town Hall has been acknowledged for the world-class service it offers to visitors and customers.
In a presentation by Howard Raynor, the founder of employer-based initiative World Class Service, the Town Hall Services team, headed by Steve Southern, has been recognised for excellence in customer service. This is the second time that Town Hall Services have been acknowledged for their high standards of delivery including customer interaction, front-of-house service and conference management.
Steve Southern, Head of Town Hall Services for Manchester City Council said: "I am so proud of all the team who work to a consistently high standard to ensure that all visitors receive a friendly and efficient service and this award is recognition for each and every one of them."
Councillor Bernard Priest, Executive Member for Finance & Human Resources said: "The Town Hall Services team engage in a high level of customer interaction and are the main point of contact for most visitors to the Town Hall. They are wonderful representatives for Manchester City Council and the high standards expected throughout, and they thoroughly deserve this acknowledgement."
World Class Service is dedicated to helping those who work in the hospitality industry to deliver outstanding service. An annual independent audit is carried out on World Class Service members to access performance and to assist them in effectively raising their standard of customer service.
