New East Manchester offers free debt advice

16 March 2009

Money advisors from New East Manchester are holding a coffee morning, 20th March for east Manchester residents wanting advice on managing debt, learning to budget and help on setting up bank accounts.

The Money Mentors team will also be offering money saving tips that can help keep fuel and food bills down. Attendees can also sign up for a free 10 week part-time personal finance course.

Sean McGonigle, New East Manchester's Director of Regeneration said: "Managing your money can be daunting and often stressful especially in this current economic climate. Our dedicated team can offer free independent advice on all money matters. We also offer a free personal finance course and I would encourage anyone worried about money or who simply wants to know the best way to manage their household budget to sign up."

The drop-in event is free and will be held at New East Manchester's offices on Grey Mare Lane in Beswick and open to anyone living in east Manchester. The session starts at 10am with registration at 9.45am. No pre-booking is necessary.
