Hundreds of jobs on offer at Manchester recruitment event

More than 250 jobs, many of them with government agencies, will be on offer at a JobCity recruitment event in east Manchester on Tuesday, 23 February being held from 12noon - 7pm.
Employers looking for new recruits will include Manchester Primary Care Trust, HM Prison Service Manchester and Manchester City Council.
The jobs fair, organised by New East Manchester and North Manchester Regeneration in partnership with Job Centre Plus will be held in the Citizens' Suite at the City of Manchester Stadium. The event is free and open to anybody looking for work.
On the day, career advisers and training providers will be on hand to support jobseekers and those currently out of work with advice and guidance. They will provide one-to-one information on training, volunteering, application forms and next steps to gain employment. For those interested in setting up their own business, advisers from the Blue Orchid consultancy will be available.
Job Centre Plus staff will also be present to discuss the Young Persons Guarantee/Future Jobs Fund initiative which focuses on getting 18-24 year olds into employment and training schemes.

There will be a range of employers in attendance offering a variety of different positions to suit different skills and abilities."
