Manchester’s newest market

Levenshulme is set to host Manchester’s newest street market this Saturday, 26 May. The market will take place on Levenshulme railway station car park, just off Albert.

Local traders will come together to create a vibrant street market. With specialist foods, crafts, clothing and entertainment the market is certain to be an unmissable destination in the heart of Levenshulme.

The market will offer a cornucopia of foods with fresh fruit and vegetables, local butchers and deli stalls offering a selection of fine cheeses and chocolate among their mouth watering produce.

Children's activities will be available, including rides and face painting, so there's no need to worry about the kids getting under your feet as you shop for a bargain.

And once you finished perusing the stalls Levenshulme Market has an entertainment tent, that will include a barbeque and drinks. The tent is sure to be the perfect place to take the weight off your feet while enjoying the hustle and bustle of the market.

The market will continue to take place on the forth Saturday of the month, on 23 June and 28 July.

Councillor Bernard Priest, Manchester City Council executive member for neighbourhood services, said "Levenshulme market will be a must visit location for any savvy shopper in South Manchester. The market will be full of local traders offering some of the finest foods and it's certain to have a wonderful lively atmosphere."
