A public consultation on the proposal to change the speed limit on Princess Road has been launched.
The consultation – found at www.manchester.gov.uk/consultations - gives everyone the chance to have their say on the proposed change of the speed limit to 30mph.
The proposed change is designed to promote a safer and calmer environment for residents and road users.
Cllr Rosa Battle, Manchester City Council's executive member for the environment, said: “We are aware that residents are growing increasingly concerned about safety on Princess Road and, like them, we are treating this as a priority.
"The road passes through an area where people live, work and take their children to school so it’s important that residents have their say to explain how the proposed change may affect them. I would urge residents to take part in the consultation, your views are extremely valuable in helping shape any future action we take in improving safety on the road.
The consultation will be open until Friday 23 September.
