Key Priorities Investing in what matters We have identified five key areas of investment that will drive forward the regeneration and provide benefits for the whole of North Manchester. City Centre Fringe - Connect North Manchester with the city centre to take advantage of the city's economic, employment and residential opportunities. The Lower Irk Valley/Collyhurst - Transform these neighbourhoods, close to the jobs, with a better choice of quality homes. Central Harpurhey - Develop more housing choice, improve the environment and link residents to the jobs market. Business Growth and Innovation - Attract new business investment into existing employment locations and develop new opportunities. District Centres - Ensure that Cheetham Hill District Centre and North City (Harpurhey) provide high-quality retail, evening offers, leisure, public services and community-based activities.
