Business Continuity Management

MBCF Publications, Resources and Templates

Water Fountain and Urbis

The Forum has been set up with a view to an increased awareness of business continuity management in Manchester's business and voluntary sector communities. This can be achieved by providing an increasing resource of information for businesses and voluntary organisations on these internet pages.

Please read on for templates that can be adapted for your organisation, relevant Business Continuity publications and advice for implementing business continuity in your organisation...

Business Continuity Case Studies

Please follow this link to download the first two in a series of Business Continuity Case Studies (PDF, 2.9 MB). These describe how individual organisations have coped with an emergency or other incident affecting them in the past.

Please follow this link to our 'Business Continuity Week 2008' page which includes a further four case studies of business continuity in practise.

We are looking to develop our range of case studies, so if you are willing to help other organisations to plan for disruptions by sharing your experience of dealing with a business continuity incident, please contact us.

Business Continuity Templates

Business Continuity Professionals often strongly discourage the use of templates.  This is because every organisation is unique and it is important that business continuity reflects the individual organisation; one size doesn't fit all.

We have produced templates that can be useful when developing business continuity management in your organisation, but we would recommend that you think carefully about the needs of your individual organisation and adapt the templates accordingly.

Follow the links below to download the relevant template:
