Location and Special Features

The library forms part of the Abraham Moss Centre on Crescent Road close to the junction with Greenhill Road. The Centre also includes Adult Education Centre, Abraham Moss High School, City College, leisure centre and theatre. See a map of this area showing the library location. The library has access for disabled people and there is a lift to the first floor. There is parking for the disabled close to the centre entrance.

Regular Events

  • Benefits surgery (Help and advice about Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit) on Monday and Wednesday 10am - 3pm (Please phone the Revenues and Benefits Unit on 0161 234 3695 for an appointment)
  • Careers Advice on Wednesday 10am - 12noon
  • Coffee Break on first Wednesday of the month 2 - 3pm
  • Tiny Tots and Toddler Time: Stories & Craft on Tuesday 10.30 - 11.30am (term time only)
  • Tiny Tots and Toddler Time: Singing & Clapping, Wriggling & Jigging on Friday 1.30 - 2.30pm (term time only)
