When you move to Manchester we will charge you from the date you moved in to your new home. Your old council will charge you up to the date you left their area.

Example
You moved to a new address in Manchester on 16 May 2013. Your new address is a band B property:

  • Your old council will charge you for the 45 days between 1 April 2013 and 15 May 2013.
  • Manchester will charge you for 320 days from 16 May 2013 to 31 March 2014.
