Design for Sustainability
As part of the Science City Programme coordinated by Manchester Knowledge Capital, the Design for Sustainability Innovation Partnership (D4SIP) was created in recognition that sustainable design and construction is one of the potential growth areas where Manchester has expertise in both its businesses and universities sector. Manchester City Council are part of the D4SIP programme, which looks at four main areas: Research, Best Practice, Enhancing the Development Framework and Promoting Excellence.
