Pay and display parking bays
We manage parking provision in the city centre and ensure there is a regular turnover of parking spaces to enable residents, shoppers, visitors and workers access to the city.
On-street parking for up to 3 hours is provided by pay and display parking bays operational between 8:00am to 8:00pm, Monday to Sunday. There are no charges to use bays on a Bank Holiday or if you are a Blue Badge holder, but special events may impact where you can park.
We have parking restrictions to regulate the use of parking bays.
City Centre parking zones
Parking zone two is red (two hour zone)
Parking zone three is blue (three hour zone)
