Patent Clinic

Do you need professional advice on patents, designs, trademarks or copyright? Not sure how to exploit your idea? Want some advice to help you take that first step?

Book an appointment at the Manchester patent clinic. It's held on the third Tuesday of every month (except December), from 2pm- 6pm in the City Library.

Come along for free basic advice on innovation given by a patent attorney. Impartial business advice, help with contacts for prototypes, guidance on funding and business start up is also available at all clinics.

You can discuss your idea in confidence for 30 minutes with each adviser at no charge. Please ring 0161 234 1397 to book an appointment or e-mail patlib@manchester.gov.uk

The advice given cannot be exhaustive and therefore no responsibility can be taken for anything done or not done as a result of the consultation.
