Building work around Number One First Street
The Q-park car park at First Street is due to close on Monday 7 January. The car park will move to the Mancunian Way side of the building (south) to what is sometimes known as 'car park B'.
Towards the end of January, a hoarding around the plot for the new cultural venue will go up. This will include the grassed area at the front of Number One First Street
Access to the building from Whitworth Street, through the car park, will be reduced during this first stage of the work. But First Street will remain fully accessible from the railway arch on the corner of Medlock Street/Whitworth Street.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause
