Responsibility for all Manchester City Council's street lighting services is now with Amey Highways Lighting (Manchester) Ltd. who is working as the Council's partner in providing the service.

Amey will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of approximately 56,000 street lights and 6,150 illuminated signs and bollards throughout Manchester's 1,444km road network.

How do I report a problem with street lighting?

If the problem with the light is potentially dangerous (e.g. wires are sticking out) please call on 0161 954 9000 so that we can deal with this job as quickly as possible
