Traded Services is a responsive, demand driven supplier of educational support services. We are set up to manage the tricky balance between the commercial requirement to generate income to cover our costs and the need to develop and maintain products and services that schools and other clients want to buy.

ETHNIC MINORITY ACHIEVEMENT TEAM
WHO WE ARE:
We are a team of specialist teachers and teaching assistants who are qualified and experienced in the area of Ethnic Minority Achievement. Our expertise covers whole school strategies to individual pupil and family support. Most of the team are bilingual. There is also a large pool of Language Support Assistants who work on a casual basis and can be commissioned to support children in a range of languages.
WHAT WE DO:
We can offer consultancies to support schools in raising the attainment of ethnic minority pupils. This includes:
- Strategic planning for EMA
- School audits
- Coaching and mentoring for staff
- Bilingual support for groups and individual pupils
- Bespoke continuing professional development for school staff.
OUR SERVICES:
Language Support Assistants
We have 24 Language Support Assistants (LSA) covering a wide range of languages. They can support children with little English and work with staff and families to assist induction of new children or help those you may have concerns with.
Cost £16 per hour. (Minimum 2 hours per session)

EMA Partnership Scheme
A value for money scheme designed so that schools can focus on their areas for improvement. You receive:
- Annual EMA school audit and action plan
- Six hours consultancy (to use as you wish)
- Free places on EMA training courses (6 half days)
- Free places at EMA network meetings
- Free place on our Annual Conference
- One Free First Language Assessment
- Free EMA resources .
- Priority booking on all training
- 10% discount on all additional training places
Fee: £1200 per academic year.
