Consultations and surveys Pride In Place: tell us what you think about your area

The Pride in Place programme is investing in the UK's local communities. Areas will get funding to create vibrant neighbourhoods everyone can be proud of.

What’s happening?

  • Over the next 10 years, each area will receive up to £20 million.
  • The money will go towards things that matter most to local people, such as:
    • safer streets
    • revitalised high streets
    • enhanced community spaces
    • improved events and activities for residents.

Which areas in Manchester will benefit?

Four areas have been chosen:

  1. Clayton Vale (parts of Clayton and Openshaw, Miles Platting and Newton Heath)
  2. Gorton South (parts of Longsight, Gorton and Abbey Hey, Levenshulme)
  3. Benchill South and Wythenshawe Central
  4. Harpurhey South and Monsall (parts of Harpurhey, Moston, Crumpsall)
