    A public Square in the centre of our city which is overlooked by the Grade 1 listed Town Hall building. The square contains a number of monuments and statues and provides a great platform for events including the famous Christmas Markets.

  7. Vehicle access

    Vehicles can access the square either by via the dropped kerb at the Mount Street end of the Square or via the dropped kerb at the pedestrian lights on Princess Street with (Mount Street entry being the preferred choice).

    Vehicle movement to and from Albert Square should not compromise public safety in any way.

  8. Loading times

    Vehicle access onto public spaces should be before 8am and leave after 6pm. Exceptions to this apply when consent has been given, or you have been instructed to move by us or the police.
