Leegrange Road

The Council of the City of Manchester in exercise of its power under Section 129A (1) of the Highways Act 1980 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers being satisfied that the conditions set out in Section 129A (3) of the Act have been met hereby makes the following Order:

Except as provided in Article 2 of this Order no person shall use the public right of way over the alleyway ("the Highway") described in the Schedule to this Order at any time.

The restriction in Article 1 to this Order shall not apply to any occupier of premises adjoining or adjacent to the Highways or to any person engaged on Council business, police, ambulance or fire service personnel acting in pursuance of statutory powers or duties or to any statutory undertaker, gas, electricity, water or communications provider requiring access to their apparatus situated in the Highways.

Barriers will be installed, operated and maintained at the rear of 6 Leegrange Road and to the side of 20 and 22 Leegrange Road, at the sides of 19 Leegrange Road and 20 Monart Road, at the sides of 19 Monart Road and 20 Nepaul Road, at the side of 31 Nepaul Road and to the side of 95 and 97 Cobden Street. The alternative route which is available for use by pedestrians during the period the Highways are restricted are the existing footways of Parkmount Road, Lewis Avenue, Leegrange Road, Monart Road, Nepaul Road and Cobden Street.

Alleyway to the rear of 6 to 20 Leegrange Road with a length of 36 metres for its full width. Alleyway to the side of 20 and 22 Leegrange Road with a length of 18 metres for its full width. Alleyway to the side of 19 Leegrange Road and 20 Monart Road with a length of 27 metres for its full width. Alleyway to the side of 19 Monart Road and 20 Nepaul Road with a length of 27 metres for its full width. Alleyway to the side of 31 Nepaul Road with a length of 16 metres for its full width. Alleyway to the rear of 97 Cobden Street with a length of 6 metres for its full width. Alleyway to the side of 95 and 97 Cobden Street with a length of 18 metres for its full width. Alleyway to the side of 54 and 56 Cobden Street and 29 and 35 Goodman Street with a length of 36 metres for its full width.
