  5. About this library

    Note our new address: the Library at Parkway House closed on 15 December and we're now at St. Wilfrid's Church Hall.

    Thanks to our volunteers we’re open 15 hours a week so you can order from Manchester Libraries’ vast lending collection of books. We’re now based at St. Wilfrid's Church Hall and there’s something for everyone here, including weekly story times for children and a monthly bookclub.

    Unfortunately there are no public computer facilities. Free SIMs are available at the library, to give 6 months free data from your device. Free Internet is available at other libraries including Didsbury, Brooklands and Forum libraries.

    You can access our vast book collection here. Just reserve items online and we'll deliver them to this library. 

    There's always something going on here, including regular events, reading groups and children’s activities.

    Opening hours:

    • Monday to Thursday 2pm to 5pm
    • Friday 10am to 1pm
    • Saturday 10am to 1pm 

    Age Friendly hours

    Tuesday 2pm to 4.30pm

    Under fives story time

    Friday 11am (term time only)

  8. Christmas opening times

    We're using the Christmas break to relocate from Parkway Green House (which closed on 15 December) to St. Wilfrid's Church Hall.

    We'll reopen in our new home on Tuesday 2 January 2024.

    Opening times will be the same as they were before.
