  1. Clean, green and safer neighbourhoods make our city attractive. They help us feel better and safer where we live, work, study and visit.

    These are the projects that have been funded by the Clean and Green investment in your neighbourhood so far. The 'completed' projects were finished in 2024 and 2025. The 'in delivery' projects are scheduled for 2026 and 2027.

    Projects in delivery

    Birch Hall Lane – new pedestrian crossing

    A new pedestrian crossing are going to delivered on Birch Hall Lane to create a safer route for residents and visitors.

    Dension Road / Birch Lane – speed cushions

    New speed cushions will be installed to help reduce vehicle speeds and improve overall road safety.

    Slade Lane- speed cushions

    Speed cushions will be installed to reduce incidents of dangerous driving and reduce vehicle speeds to improve pedestrian safety.
