Harpurhey parade and fun day
Join in the fun by watching the parade and taking part in activities
Parade: 2pm - 3pm
The parade starts at the top of Upper Conran Street and heads down onto Fernclough Road, turning right onto Lathbury Road before crossing Rochdale Road into Queens Park.
We welcome everyone to line the streets to watch and cheer on the parade.
Queens Park Family Funday: 3pm - 6pm
Park activities:
- Free snacks, drinks and ice cream for children
- Free activities – climbing wall, bouncy bungee, face painting, magician, circus skills, bike repairs, exercise classes, bug hunt, planting session, Afrofit cultural dance, hair braiding, Cultural yoga.
Pre-parade events/activites
Wednesday 25 June
- No. 93 Church Lane, M9 5BG. Cycling sessions, gardening and creative activities. Gardening will be 10.30am-12. Cycle rides usually leave at 10am and 12. Creative activities will be from 10am-12.
Sunday 29 June
- TLM Centre, 1 Jocelyn Street, M40 8PR. Youth Club (Arts and crafts, dancing, ourdoor games). 11am – 12.30pm.
- Manchester Youth Zone, 931 Rochdale Road, M9 8AE, 10am – 12 noon - Art, Baking, Sports, Giant Games, Sensory play and fitness sessions
