Are you a group of residents who want to make a difference in your neighbourhood, a Friends of Group, a community group or a VSCE?
The Coop Live Community Fund is available for Ancoats and Beswick, Clayton and Openshaw, and Miles Platting and Newton Heath only. The funding is available for groups to help carry out events and initiatives that benefit local people.
You can apply if you're a none profit group that needs funding to deliver a specific project that benefits your local community.
The main objective of this fund is to support the local voluntary and community sector in achieving the following:
- Employment opportunities for young people
- Improving health and wellbeing outcomes
- Investment in other good local causes which support improvements in local communities and neighbourhoods
The Panel will also consider cost effectiveness, value for money and that a similar project is not being delivered in your neighbourhood.
Applicants can apply for between £500 to £5000. Applications which exceed £5000 may be available subject to discussion with the team.
