People and communities Helping getting online and digital

Help using our online services

If you need help getting online, or with anything digital, our digital inclusion team can help you with data, devices and training.

If you want to get online but are struggling to pay for WiFi, we can provide you with a free SIM and dongle so you can have internet in your house for 6-12 months. Email us at digitalinclusion@manchester.gov.uk or text 07860 064128

If you need a computer, we have partnered with Community Computers, who refurb devices and sell them at a low price. It's now just £60 for a laptop or desktop - including MS Office, antivirus software and a 12 month warranty. Visit their website at https://shop.communitycomputers.co.uk/

If you want to improve your digital skills, or just need help with a technical issue, there are lots of free classes and drop-ins across the city. We have created a directory where you can filter by postcode or ward to find your nearest session.

For longer digital skills courses (all free) Manchester Adult Education Service offer a range to suit all abilities.

If you need help with anything digital-related, text us on 07860 064128. One of our team will call you back and help you get the support you need.
