If the powers are granted, we would carry out enforcement action on those that breach the moving traffic restrictions. Penalty Charge Notices will be issued up to £70, subject to a 50% discount for early payment. Those who received a Penalty Charge Notice will have a legal right to appeal.
We will be holding in person engagement sessions to give you the opportunity to speak with members of the highways team to discuss the proposed new powers for the Council, and to raise any concerns you may have.
