The Council is undertaking a review of current polling districts and polling places during the autumn / winter of 2024. We are therefore asking for your views and comments on polling places (the buildings in which you vote) and the boundaries of the polling districts (the smaller areas each ward is divided up into).
Your views and comments
We want your comments and suggestions on the following:
- polling places and polling districts
- the suitability and location of any polling place in the city
- the size and boundary of any polling district in the city.
As part of the consultation, the Acting Returning Officer will put forward views on potential changes to polling places and districts. The document will be available to read no later than the week beginning 14 October 2024.
You can then comment on these proposed changes as part of this consultation.
This consultation ends on Friday 29 November 2024. A full summary of comments submitted to the consultation will be published in late January 2025.
About You Questions
We would like to ask you some questions about yourself. These questions are optional. You do not have to answer them, but in doing so you will be helping Manchester City Council to ensure that the views collected through the consultation represent the views of the resident population.
All responses will remain confidential.
