Manchester Active recently developed an Outdoor Action Sports Strategy. It covers skateboarding, BMX freestyle, in-line skating and scootering.
The strategy has identified two priority sites for development. These sites are:
- Platt Fields
- Hulme Park
Platt Fields Park skatepark has recently been removed. This is due to its poor and dangerous condition and needs to be redeveloped. The skatepark at Hulme Park also needs an upgrade.
We want to design and develop both skateparks with help from the community. That's why we are inviting you to have your say.
