Crime, antisocial behaviour and nuisance Crime prevention

Public transport

Manchester City Council, TfGM and Greater Manchester Police are working in partnership to combat ASB and crime on public transport.

We want to ensure that people travelling to, from and around Manchester have a safe and secure journey. You may see Bus Revenue Inspectors and Police Officers boarding your bus and requesting tickets or you may be asked to walk through a gateway set up by the Transport Police when leaving your train. These activities are designed to create a safer transport network for everyone.

If you witness incidents of ASB or crime on your commute to and from work, please report them. The more information we have, the more we can target resources where they are needed most.
