Getting a copy of your personal information in a common format

You have the right to request that your personal information be given back to you, or another service provider of your choice, in a commonly used electronic format.

This is called data portability, and only applies if;

  • you have provided us with your personal information and
  • we're using your personal information with your consent or based on the performance of a contract.

This right does not apply:

  • if we're using or holding your information as required to by law or carrying out our public tasks or functions.
  • to paper records we hold about you. It is likely that data portability will not apply to most of the services you receive from us.
