How do I purchase credits?
Purchasing credits is easy and straightforward. We recommend that you perform a free search first to establish that the records you are looking for are available, once you have done this you simply click on the name of the deceased and you will be prompted to login and create an account. By creating an account you are then given the option to purchase credits via Manchester City Council's secure online payment system. Remember to have your credit or debit card handy at this stage.
Once you have purchased your credits a receipt is generated which includes a receipt number and authorisation code. It is recommended that you retain a copy of this receipt for future reference along with your unique username and password created when you register your account. Now you can start to view records in more detail, each record you access will deduct one credit from your account.
