Libraries Makerspace

The MakerSpace has lots of equipment and technology for you to use, we have one at Central library and one at Forum library, there's:

  • An Apple Mac with Adobe creative suite so as would-be designers can create new marketing campaigns, edit video and photographs, record audio and make music;
  • Free Google Sketch-up and Blendr software for 3D modelling and design;
  • Smart TV for presentations and workshops;
  • HP Sprout PC to manipulate images and designs using the touch pad and in-built 3D scanner;
  • 3D printer; and
  • Sewing machine, just bring along your own material - Not available from 1 -3 pm each Monday.

There will also be activities such as (for more information see the regular services section at Central library or Forum library):

  • Stop motion animation film making for children;
  • Introduction sessions for adults on the HP Sprout and 3D printers; and
  • App and tablet sessions.
