How we spend this budget
These budgets fund frontline services for residents including customer service, coroners and registrars.
They also help us support people’s housing costs and provide welfare for Manchester residents in need. They support voluntary organisations, culture and other projects.
They fund our technology and computer service and the costs of running and looking after council buildings.
And they support all council services with essentials like finance and auditing, buying and capital spending, personnel and legal work. They drive improvements and innovations and fund our democratic function.
