How we spend this budget
These services provide a wide range of services to improve life for Manchester residents and showcase our city to millions of visitors.
Together with local people, we use these budgets to make this a better place to live, work and play. They fund our green growth and zero-carbon ambition, low-carbon energy, retrofitting, green spaces and managing climate change.
They help keep our streets safe and secure, and our neighbourhoods clean with efficient recycling. They fund our parks, libraries and galleries, leisure and events – along with our partners and voluntary organisations.
We also use these budgets to help run our housing service, prevent and tackle homelessness and keep our roads and public spaces in good order.
