Parking Apply for a dropped kerb

Before you make a submission you must check that the road you wish to have a dropped kerb on meets all the needs, criteria and requirements. Read what is required for a dropped kerb application

Once you have submitted your application we will assess it and let you know if the work can go ahead. During this conversation any additional steps needed before building will be discussed such as planning permissions. If these are needed, we will tell you how to apply, and how to provide us with a copy if it’s approved. Once we have this, we’ll let you know how much the job will cost.

You will need to make the payment before we can start work.

If you've applied but not yet had a reply

Lockdown presented our Highway Maintenance Service team with a number of challenges, resulting in delays with the dropped kerb, H-bar and Disabled Bay service, because our primary focus had to shift to carrying out essential repairs. We also had technical issues with a new software system.

If you made an application after 12 September 2020, and haven't yet had a response, please resubmit your application.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.
