Central Library has 170 PCs over five floors plus a suite of Macs and PCs in the Media Lounge which also includes the latest gaming consoles.  Central Library has wifi so you can bring your own device and get connected

PC usage is free to library members.  This applies to the computers across all Manchester libraries. It is free to connect to the wifi.  

You can access many reference resources for free online wherever you are.

There is a free digital Skill Up workshop every Tuesday 9.30am to 11.45am with staff from Manchester Adult Education Service.

Some computers in the Information and Business section are reserved to access our range of business databases and market research. In the Media Lounge certain computers are available to use with creative software only.  Please ask staff for details.

Please note: computer access within the library will shut down 15 minutes before the library closes.
