How to apply
Apply here if:
- Your child's date of birth is between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 and is due to start primary school in September 2026
- you live in Manchester.
If you live outside Manchester and want a place at a Manchester school, you need to apply through your current home council.
The application round for Reception 2026 school places opens on the 18 August 2025 and the deadline for submitting an on time application is Wednesday 15 January 2026.
