COVID-19 COVID-19 Government restrictions

The government has removed the remaining Covid restrictions in England. There are still steps you can take to reduce the risk of catching and spreading COVID-19 by:

  • Getting vaccinated
  • Let fresh air in if meeting indoors, or meet outside
  • Wearing a face covering in crowded or enclosed spaces
  • If you have COVID-19 symptoms please stay at home, (even though this is no longer a legal requirement), you are advised to stay at home for at least 5 days so that you don't spread the virus.

From 1 April 2022, the Government will no longer provide free universal symptomatic (PCR) and asymptomatic (LFD) testing for the general public in England.

However, the most vulnerable people will continue to receive free lateral flow test kits if they are symptomatic find out more information at gov.uk

For other people, they will be able to buy LFD kits at chemists and supermarkets.
