Northwest Regional Strategic Migration Partnership (RSMP)
Manchester City Council is proud to be hosting the Northwest Regional Strategic Migration Partnership.
The North West Strategic Migration Partnership works across the North West region. They work with councils and other statutory, voluntary, community and private sector organisations to help support positive local responses to migration. The RSMP works across a range of policy and immigration areas including; Asylum, Employment, Hong Kong BN (O), Migrant Health, Resettlement, ESOL, Social Care (including unaccompanied children), Ukraine and Voluntary Sector.
The RSMP works in partnership with various organisations across the North West and nationally including;
- County, District and Unitary Authorities in the North West
- Combined Authorities in Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester
- UK Health Security Agency and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (formerly Public Health England).
- NHS Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) in the North West.
- North West Police forces.
- Home Office – UK Visas and Immigration
- Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
- Serco, the housing provider contracted by the Home Office.
- Voluntary, faith community and social enterprise organisations involved with migration.
The RSMP is one of twelve UK Strategic Migration Partnerships nationwide, each funded by the Home Office to assist with migration in their respective regions.
