Leaders Forum meeting 27 November 2014

Manchester Leaders Forum, 27 November 2014

The Manchester Leaders Forum held its second meeting on 27 November at Manchester Metropolitan University’s  School of Art and Design.

Sir Richard Leese, Leader of Manchester City Council and Chair of the Manchester Leaders Forum opened the meeting by providing an overview of the Greater Manchester Devolution Agreement and what it means for the city.

Forum members also received a presentation from the Manchester Youth Council about the results of the 2014 Make Your Mark youth consultation.

The Leaders Forum heard feedback from the three discussion sessions that have been held over the last few months for its members and external speakers to input into the reshaping of the Manchester strategy, and discussed the key themes which should be included in the new strategy.

The focus of the discussion around the strategy for the next ten years was on how we should define the city’s aspirations and what success will look like in 2025.

Notes from this meeting will be available on the Manchester Partnership website shortly.
