Manchester Investment Board

The Manchester Investment Board (MIB) drives delivery of the Community Strategy priorities. It provides strategic leadership and direction on the following:

  • public sector reform, including on integrated commissioning
  • developing strong and joint leadership across public, private, voluntary and community sector partners
  • ensuring local democratic accountability

The MIB meets monthly to review the delivery of Community Strategy priorities and the actions set out to deliver the priorities.

The MIB takes a lead role in addressing public sector reform work, such as the Community Budget projects. It also makes decisions based on financial management reports.

Every quarter the MIB reviews the overall delivery of Community Strategy priorities focussing on performance challenges and considers future opportunities based on research and evaluation of current activity.
