Local Delivery

Key to delivering our priorities will be a focus on neighbourhoods, particularly Strategic Regeneration Framework (SRF) areas, where we aspire to have joint neighbourhood models of commissioning. Children's Partnerships have therefore been established, chaired by a local headteacher and based on the city's strategic regeneration framework (SRF) areas.

SRF Children's Partnerships have been established in the North, South, East, Central and Wythenshawe areas of Manchester and they report directly into Children's Board as well as working closely with other neighbourhood based services such as Sure Start centres, schools, community police, voluntary organisations and health visitors.  These groups have an annual workplan that links directly to the Joint Strategy and is approved by the Children's Board.

There are 5 SRF areas across Manchester:

North Manchester SRF - Newsletters, Map of Youth provision and Sure Start Centres
East Manchester SRF - Newsletters, Map of Youth provision and Sure Start Centres
Central Manchester SRF - Newsletters, Map of Youth provision and Sure Start Centres
South Manchester SRF - Newsletters, Map of Youth provision and Sure Start Centres
Wythenshawe SRF - Newsletters, Map of Youth provision and Sure Start Centres
