True-blue footballing fans are expected to turn out in their thousands this Monday 25 May to help celebrate the achievements of Manchester City men's, women's, and academy teams during the 25/26 season and to pay tribute to departing manager Pep Guardiola.
Celebrations include an open top bus parade through the city, followed by a special 'After Party' event being held at Co-op Live.
With build-up in the city's Northern Quarter from 4 pm, the bus parade will set off at 5 pm following a kick-off moment with all teams at the start of the parade before buses travel through Ancoats and on to Ashton Old Road. The parade will then continue before coming to a close with a final celebratory moment outside the Colin Bell West Stand Reception at the Etihad Stadium.
Fans wanting to show their support for the club and for Pep can either join in the free celebrations along the parade route, or can purchase tickets for the event at Co-op Live.
'The After Party' is a separate ticketed event which will take place at Co-op Live after the parade, featuring live music, entertainment, and player interviews from both men's and women's teams, plus other special guests. The full parade will also be shown inside the venue for those attending Co-op Live.
Fans planning to attend Monday's parade or the event at Co-op Live are asked to use public transport where possible, to travel light - no big bags - and not to bring drinks in glass bottles with them. Given the temperatures expected on Monday
After ten years of making his mark on the club and the city and leaving behind a haul of silverware in the club's trophy cabinet as he does, the impact Pep has had on the city during the last decade is evident.
Councillor Bev Craig, Leader of Manchester City Council said: "There can be no doubt about the impact Pep Guardiola has had on football in our city over the last decade.
"His ambition, his drive, his determination to bring out the best in his players and the people around him no matter what, has been a decade-long masterclass in both leadership and teamwork.
"His impact however also goes way beyond the pitch, with the Pep-effect helping invigorate our communities and position Manchester firmly front and centre as an ambitious global city with a sporting legacy like no other.
"For all of this he will go down in the history books as a true Manchester legend - one who will live forever as the honorary Mancunian he undoubtedly is."
