    Green Car Park does not offer accessible parking.

    Co-op Live’s Car Park is the designated accessible parking for Sports City on Event Days. Visitors requiring accessible parking should refer to their webpage for details of available provision and any applicable booking and eligibility requirements.

    £15 per space. All prices are in GBP and include VAT at 20%.

    Booking: To reserve a parking space, please use the Customer Parking Services online booking system.

    Please note that parking spaces are subject to availability. Advanced bookings are strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

    If pre-booked spaces have not reached full capacity, parking will also be available on the day. Stewards will be stationed at the car park entrance and can take card payments only.

    This car park is operated by Tracsis on behalf of Manchester City Council and Manchester City Football Club for event‑day use.

    How do I pre-book?  

    To reserve a parking space, please use the Customer Parking Services online booking system.

    What happens after I make my booking?

    You will receive an on-screen confirmation which details your booking reference and instructions (please read these carefully).

    We will also send you a booking confirmation email. Please ensure that your vehicle registration details are correct as this is used to give you access to the carpark. There is an option to amend your booking if you will be arriving at the airport in a different vehicle than originally planned.

    You are responsible for supplying a valid email and we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of booking confirmation emails due to transmission failure or incorrect address details.

    Failure to receive the confirmation email has no bearing on the status of your booking, your booking is still valid, but please check your junk or spam folder just in case your booking confirmation email has been sent there. If not, your email address may have been entered incorrectly.

    How do I amend my booking, my Vehicle Registration has changed?
    If you need to amend the vehicle registration associated with your booking, please refer to your booking confirmation or visit the booking system for details on how to update your information before the event.

    Can I cancel my booking?
    All pre-bookings are non-refundable, except in the instance the event organiser cancels or reschedules the event. In this instance you will be automatically refunded or booking rescheduled for the new date. Any refund arrangements will be subject to the terms and conditions of your booking.

    Do I need to print my booking confirmation?
    No. As the car park operates using vehicle registration details supplied during booking, a printed confirmation is not normally required. However, visitors are encouraged to retain their confirmation email for reference.

    The car park can be accessed via Hillkirk Street.

    Can I park on nearby streets?
    Visitors should be aware that the Eastlands Residents Parking Scheme operates in areas surrounding the Co-op Live Arena and Etihad Campus. These restrictions are actively enforced, and vehicles parked in contravention of local regulations may be subject to enforcement action.     Are there alternative parking options available?
    Visitors may wish to consider the Co-op Live’s official car park as well as Manchester City centre car parks or one of the Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) Metrolink Park and Ride sites, which provide access to the Co-op Live Arena and surrounding area via public transport.

    Will there be road closures on event days?
    Temporary traffic management measures and road closures may be implemented around the Co-op Live Arena and Etihad Campus before and after events to support pedestrian safety and traffic flow. Visitors are advised to allow additional travel time and check for any event-specific travel updates before setting out.

    What time should I arrive?
    The car park will open 2 hours before an event is due to start, and close 1.5 hours after an event has finished. To help avoid congestion and ensure a smooth arrival, visitors are encouraged to allow sufficient time for travel, parking and walking to the venue before the event starts.

    What time does the car park open and close?
    Opening and closing times may vary depending on the event. Details will be provided as part of the booking process and in your booking confirmation.

    Is overnight parking permitted?
    No overnight parking is not permitted. Vehicles must be removed by the stated closing time. Any vehicles left after closing will be subject to removal and liable for an additional release fee. In this instance, please contact  commercial.property@manchester.gov.uk

    What happens if I arrive late?
    Your booking remains valid on the day of the event. However, visitors should allow sufficient time for travel, parking and walking to the venue, particularly during periods of high demand.

    Are coaches, minibuses or larger vehicles permitted?
    Parking charges and availability are based on standard vehicle spaces. Anyone wishing to park larger vehicles should contact commercial.property@manchester.gov.uk in advance to confirm availability and applicable charges.

    Do electric vehicle charging facilities exist on site?
    Electric vehicle charging facilities are not currently available at Green Car Park.

    Terms & Conditions of Green Car Park Use

    Vehicles and any valuables are left entirely at the owner’s risk. The landowner and operators accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or contents.

    Parking Conditions

    • Operating Window — Parking is permitted from 2 hours before the event until 1.5 hours after the event ends.
    • After-Hours Access Fee Notice — Any vehicle left on site after closing times may be subject to a release fee minimum £50.00 (Fifty pounds).
    • For vehicles locked in after closing, please call the Sports City Management Duty Manager on 07586117952.
    • Removal of left vehicles — Any vehicle left on site after closing will be subject to removal. All related costs will be charged to the owner. Please contact commercial.property@manchester.gov.ukfor release details.

    Behaviour and Conduct

    • Noise Minimisation — Please keep noise to a minimum to avoid disturbing neighbouring properties.
    • Owner Responsibility — Drivers are responsible for securing their vehicle and removing valuables.
    • Compliance Requirement — By entering this car park, you agree to comply with all posted terms and instructions from staff.

    • Prohibited Activities — No idling, tailgating, loitering, unauthorised trading, or unauthorised access.
