Improvement details
- Add 20mph roundels on red road surfacing, ‘SLOW’ marking on red road surfacing and extra 20mph signs along the length of the road
- Add 20mph signs and junction warning markings on George Parr Road, Ormsgill Street and Chichester Road where they join Old Birley Street.
- Move the existing ‘School Crossing’ warning sign closer to the junction with Rolls Crescent
- Add two warning signs - ‘SLOW DOWN 20’ – which will be activated by speeding vehicles.
Contractors to commence work week of 17 January.
